Visiting address: Latokartanonkaari 11, 00790 Helsinki
Present role
I work as a researcher in the Marine and freshwater solutions unit in Syke. I work on the development and application of the nutrient loading model WSFS-Vemala, with a particular interest on simulating the impact of nutrient processes in the river/lake network, the impact of acid sulphate soils and the impact of the mining industry on the water quality in Finland.
Expertise
- Water quality modelling
- Biogeochemical processes
- Nutrient cycling
- Reduction in nutrient loading simulations with agricultural/point sources scenarios
Background
I have worked in the Finnish Environment Institute since 2012 in projects related to the development and application of the nutrient loading model WSFS-Vemala. I graduated as an Engineer in 2002 from the School of Industrial Biology, France. I also graduated as a Master of Science in Environmental Water Management in 2002 from Cranfield University, England and a Master of Science 2 in Hydrology and Hydrogeology in 2005 from the Pierre and Marie Curie University (Paris VI), France.
