FINMARI and INAR RI, two key research infrastructures for the Finnish Environment Institute SYKE, have been granted a status on the Finland’s national roadmap for research infrastructures.
” Both research infrastructures continuing on the roadmap for research infrastructures rely on broad long-standing collaboration. Large research infrastructures allow multidisciplinary ambition and usefulness, which is why they are particularly valuable for us in SYKE”, says Eeva Primmer, acting director general of SYKE.
Finnish Marine Research Infrastructure, FINMARI, and Integrated Atmospheric and Earth System Science Research Infrastructure, INAR RI, will continue on the list of strategically significant research infrastructure services of Finland. The status on the roadmap is secured for 2021–2024. Altogether 29 research infrastructures were granted the status by the Finnish Research Infrastructure Committee (FIRI Committee) on 10 December.
