Background
My background is in Industrial Ecology and I specialize in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). I hold a master’s degree (M.Sc.) from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, Czech Republic. I gained experience in large international EU-funded projects, as well as in numerous national research projects. I am used to co-operate with both public and private sector. I have been working in Syke since 2010.
Present role
I am a researcher in the Sustainability group in the Climate solutions unit. My main tasks at present include LCA research work in various projects. I am also invovled in various activities connected to the EU Environmental Footprint.
Research interests and expertise
In my work I want to better understand the environmental impacts and consequences of making products and services consumed in our society.
I am interested in the influence of methodological choices on LCA results, the use of LCA-based methods in business and policies, end-of-life modelling, sustainable mobility, and digitalisation.
My main expertise is in:
- life cycle assessment methodology and modelling
- EU Environmental Footprint methodology
- visualisations and communication
